Advice On How Leni Robredo Can Carry Out Her Slogan “Gobyernong Tapat, Angat Buhay Lahat” (Faithful Government, Fruitful Lives For All) – By Championing Regenerative Agriculture!

Does PH Vice President & Presidential Candidate Leni Robredohave a heart for Filipino farmers? I have not come across a major campaign statement of Ms Leni about PH Agriculture, which is the #1 industry in the country, what with 10 million farmers involved. She needs advice from the “laylayan” (outskirts)!

On Facebook, there is a group that calls itself Angat Buhay Lahat (ABL) – liberal translation: “Improved Lives for All.” ABL is derived from Ms Leni’s OVP “Angat Buhay” projects.

In her speech during the virtual Semiconductor and Electronics Industries in the Philippines Inc (SEIPI) Q1 General Membership Meeting & Partner of the Industry Awards 2022, with her campaign slogan “Gobyernong Tapat, Angat Buhay Lahat” (Faithful Government, Fruitful Lives For All – my translation), Ms Leni is not saying how her government will truly be sincere, but I believe she is sincere in wanting prosperous lives for all Filipinos.

Now, how will she make sure that all Filipinos will enjoy flourishing lives under her as President of the Philippines?

Right now, as a wide reader, son of an Ilocano farmer, and an agriculturist (UP '65, Civil Service Professional level), I can give my unsolicited advice on how 10 million Filipino farmers’ lives can all rise to the level of Prosperity; thus:

Have the whole PH government assign 100% support for Regenerative Agriculture, by subsidizing farming from inputs to outputs to processing to marketing to exports – and thereby simultaneously fighting climate change automatically!

I will advise the practice of Organic Agriculture (OA), a subset of Regenerative Agriculture. OA is already widely known and accepted as a method of growing healthy crops and livestock all over the world. I advise the government of Ms Leni to empower the Department of Agriculture (DA) and all attached agencies to subsidize all farmers so that they are able to apply accepted organic farming methods, including producing their own or purchasing organic fertilizers and pesticides.

With at least 5 million hectares of farms devoted 100% to organic agriculture, there will be negligible greenhouse gases (GHGs) produced from the fields – tremendously helping control further climate change. And with the DA subsidizing the organic farming of all farmers, with their high yields the farmers will be earning unprecedented incomes that they truly deserve out of their honest labors!

More: ANN says (Author Not Named, 27 January 2022, Facebook), Ms Leni delivered the keynote speech during the SEIPI meeting conducted via Zoom, even as she accepted her Partner Of The Industry Award from the SEIPI.

Her speech was entitled “Recharging The Industry And Economy Through Transformational Leadership And Resilience.” Among other things, she said:

The challenges we have faced over the past two years have only highlighted the importance of transformational leadership – the kind of leadership that proactively looks for ways to make the economy more robust, while at the same time ensuring that our society is fairer, more humane, and more just.

Yes Ma'am, PH President, transformational leadership we will welcome!@517
